Crown Solo Plus 3 Masonry Primer is a modified alkyd-based primer for masonry and gypsum surfaces that is used a barrier coat between alkaline plaster and alkyd-based topcoats and for curing masonry defects like efflorescence, blistering, peeling, cracking, flaking and chalkiness.

It is mostly suitable for new or previously coated surfaces like plaster, cement, concrete, brick, asbestos sheets, MDF.

It offers advanced alkali resistance, can be applied on areas with minimum preparation, prevents efflorescence, water-permeable – allows a surface to breathe yet provides water resistance and can be overcoated with solvent-based and water-based top coats.

Spreading Capacity per coat: Depends on film thickness applied, type of texture, surface porosity, imperfections, temperature & wastage during painting with an average of 8 – 10 m2/l when applied over a smooth surface.
