Duracoat Paint Remover

Thinning: Not recommended.
SPECIFICATION
1) Apply by brush a generous coat of DuraCoat Paint Remover onto surfaces where the old paint is to be removed. Allow to react for above few 5 minutes before stripping off the softened paint film with scrappers.
2) To enhance faster performance of DuraCoat Paint Remover, the surface of the paint to be removed should be scoured with wire brush prior to applying the paint remover.
3) Removal of multi pack “epoxies” or “polyurethanes” may require repeated applications as aged coats in these categories could be harder to remove.
4) Ensure thorough cleaning prior to painting. If possible use stronger solvents to mop clean the DuraCoat Paint Remover at the end of the exercise.
PRECAUTIONS
(I) Since the chemicals used are corrosive it is recommended that hand gloves and goggles are worn when using DuraCoat Paint Remover.
(ii) DO NOT smoke when using DuraCoat Paint Remover since Nicotine from cigarettes will react with components of the remover to give phosgene gas which is highly toxic.
